The Basics
Almost Stellar is a teen band from the East Lansing, Michigan area who plays high-energy rock and grunge covers - from Jimi Hendrix and Paramore, to Journey and Alice In Chains. The band consists of 5 members: Dash “Dash The Drummer” (founder, music director, and drummer), Claire on vocals, Carter and Aryan sharing lead and rhythm guitar, and Lily on bass.
Our History
The 5 members of Almost Stellar met while attending School of Rock East Lansing and playing together in the House Band. Dash The Drummer and bassist Lily have been playing together for over 6 years—one of the highlights being taking the stage at the Bonaroo Festival in Tennessee with School of Rock. Not too long afterward, they were joined by Claire, Aryan, and Carter. Together, they have played large stages like Summerfest in Milwaukee and The Pit Spitters Stadium in Traverse City, as well as well-known local music festivals like Mason’s Sun Dried Music Fest, Dewitt’s Ox Roast, St. John’s Mint Festival, Grand Ledge’s Music In The Park, and various local restaurant venues.
What We Bring To The Table
While Almost Stellar is a new band with young artists, they are well-versed in working with sound professionals, quickly setting up and tearing down, and providing a professional show experience. The band can also provide sound equipment and a dedicated sound technician if needed. Booking venues will not be disappointed in the level of professionalism of these outstanding young musicians!
